Feijão Tropeiro is a traditional dish from Minas Gerais, made with beans, bacon, sausage, bacon, collard greens, eggs, and cassava flour. It is dairy-free and gluten-free. Feijão Tropeiro translates to “Cattleman’s Beans”. “Tropeiros”, in Portuguese – would travel long distances and needed to carry meals that traveled well. This dish comes with steamed rice.
