Kebabs arrived in India and Pakistan in the 1500s when the Mughal emperors invaded India. Fun fact - India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh were one country till 1947. Even though India and Pakistan were partitioned in 1947, what we share today are the love of kebabs and the tense rivalry during a cricket match. Seekh kebabs are typical street food and home food in Pakistan. Juicy skewers of meat are cooked on tiny charcoal grills on the street and served hot on a warm naan cooked right before you.
