Kebabs arrived in India and Pakistan in the 1500s when the Mughal emperors invaded India. Fun fact - India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh were one country till 1947. Even though India and Pakistan were partitioned in 1947, what we share today are the love of kebabs and the tense rivalry during a cricket match. Seekh kebabs are typical street food and home food in Pakistan. Juicy skewers of meat are cooked on tiny charcoal grills on the street and served hot on a warm naan cooked right before you.

This dish will be served with garlic naan bread, yogurt raita, vinegar, pickled red onion, and the tastiest smoked eggplant dish, Baingan Bharta.

Ingredients: Ground chicken, onion, ginger, garlic, mint, cilantro, butter, green chili, canola oil, ground coriander, ground cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, canola oil, naan, yogurt, and mint.

Baingan Bharta: Eggplant, turmeric, cumin, onion, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, chili powder, cilantro, green chili, lemon juice.

Add a note for gluten-free option- Substitute Nann with Basmati Rice.
