We are so excited to bring Barbados’ Curry Chicken and Roti (Dhal Puri), which blends Caribbean flavors with East Indian flavors that were brought by sugar cane workers who immigrated to the Caribbean islands in the mid-1800s. Chicken thighs are cooked in a simple mix of curry powder, ginger, garlic, and thyme and are traditionally eaten inside a Carribean roti called Dhal Puri. Dhal Puris are delicious thin wraps with a mildly spicy lentil mix as filling. We will serve this dish with Roti (Dhal Puri) and a green bean and cabbage dish on the side.
A gluten-free option is not available. This dish is mildly spicy.
