If I can remember correctly I first saw this dish featured in Parts Unknown when Anthony Bourdain visited Brazil. Frango com Quiabo or Chicken with Okra is a typical South-eastern Brazilian dish, especially popular in Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro where there is a big population of Afro-Brazilians. This dish and its main ingredient okra were first introduced by African slaves. This is a special dish and close to my heart because of my love and dedication to Anthony Bourdain and what he tried to show through food.
