Pastelón is a Puerto Rican dish with many interpretations across the island. Lymaris' version nestles thinly sliced, fried sweet plantains between layers of savory ground turkey, eggs, mozzarella, and cream cheese. The savory turkey is seasoned with sofrito which is a mixture of herbs and vegetables like cilantro, coriander, sweet peppers, onions, and garlic.
