A bed of hot, fluffy white rice. A colorful array of vegetables. Seasoned beef and a dollop of gochujang (chili paste on the side). Bibimbap is a quintessential Korean dish, and the options for what makes its way into the bowl are seemingly limitless. The origins of this dish’s name come from written Chinese characters ‘goldong’ meaning ‘to mix’, just as ‘bibim’ does in Korean, while ‘bap’ means rice. This dish is delicious! Lots of Vegetables! Our six-year-old loved it!

You can make it yummier and more authentic by adding a fried egg on top before eating the dish. Gluten-free and soy-free options will not have the gochujang paste.

Ingredients: Beef strips, Sushi rice, green apple, garlic, ginger, tamari, honey, sesame oil, sesame seeds, carrots, zucchini, spinach, mushrooms, rice vinegar, white sugar, sesame, gochujang, mirin, salt, and canola oil.
