Larb (pronounced L-aa-b) is widely considered Laos' national dish. This pork meat-based dish is so refreshing!! It is flavored with toasted sushi rice, cilantro, mint leaves, chili, fish sauce, sugar, and lime juice, giving it a zesty flavor. It goes great with beer and has a herby and cool mouthfeel. Larb is also a popular dish in the Isan region of Thailand, and it has a great Michelin guide write-up!
